See http://nihongo.monash.edu/dicsubs/2009-03/subs2009-03-11.html  about 1/5 of the way down the page. He put in the 相対す and 相対する entries at the same time. The reason for having both 相対 and 相対する is explained there. Obviously the meanings of 相対 and 相対する are different.</upd_detl>

When I asked the teacher in the office next to mine which was the more commonly-used reading for 相対, she said that unless it was used with する she would use the other.</upd_detl>
