<upd_detl>Hello this is the first entry I’ve ever made. I’m a Japanese language learner from Arizona in the United States. There are quite a lot of us learning Japanese here in the schools and using online dictionaries, so I wanted to start adding local things like flora and fauna to the dictionary to potentially help my classmates and other students from the region. There aren’t many entries for local plants, animals, and food in the dictionaries that use jmdict. There usually aren’t Japanese language Wikipedia entries either.</upd_detl>
