<upd_detl>despite the wikipedia entry, i think 'wokou' and 'wakō' are not generally accepted english terms (not in the oed, etc.) and they should not be used as glosses (esp. primary gloss)? i think this is generally just translated in english as "Japanese pirates" (as per gg5)</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>Hmm. I wondered about rearranging the glosses but now I think it's probably best as it is. Perhaps "Japanese, etc." as they weren't exclusively Japanese.</upd_detl>
