<upd_detl>We only have about 60 event entries in the JMnedict. If we want to get into the business of adding every notable event from world history, then adding and reviewing them individually is likely not the smartest approach.</upd_detl>

Also, what's the [spec1] threshold for events? I'm not sure this should be included in the jmdict release.</upd_detl>
