<upd_detl>There's a heap of these Unicode characters which can be used in the kanji field. I'm comfortable with including them. Perhaps it warrants a policy issue/discussion.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>On reflection I agree that the ㎖, etc. versions are probably not really relevant here. The ones like ㌒ need to be considered at some stage.</upd_detl>
