<upd_detl>This term is euphemistic("royal road").  One would never guess from 王道 that there was a 的 form, and one would never guess that 王道的 is limited specifically to sense[3] of 王道. If you see 王道的 in a text, you'll have to puzzle about which sense it is. 34608 ngrams seems common enough to me that this clarity would be useful.</upd_detl>
