<upd_detl>Since 巧み can be spelled 巧, I guess 巧み【たくみ】 and 巧【こう】 can be unified with the intermediate form 巧【たくみ】. However, 巧 is irregular okurigana for 
the たくみ reading, but not for the こう reading, and there seems to be no way to indicate this. So I submitted 巧【こう】 as a separate entry.</upd_detl>

nikk says it's also 形動, but doesn't indicate whether it's na or naru.
Aozora isn't very helpful as occurrences of 巧な are either read as たくみな or have no ruby.</upd_refs>
