While the new sense 4 is close to sense 1, I thought it has a 
negative connotation whereas the latter is neutral. Plus, 
according to djr/djs, it's usually is used in passive form when

<upd_detl>Sense 3 is tricky. I'm ambigious towards having notes like "used in the negative" while glossing the sense as if the entry is in fact 
for the negated form. Isn't it a little confusing? The entry is 問う, not 問わない/問わず so I'd kind of expect the gloss to be "with 
regard to". 
Also, is sense 3 all that different from sense 4? Would it make sense to remove sense 3 and add something to the sense 3 note? ";
