<upd_detl>Just to add the headword which appeared in the text which I was reading.
Because of the matching kanji, maybe there could be a cross-reference with the following entry:-
駆け上る; 駆け上がる; 駆上る 【かけあがる】 (v5r,vi) to run up
As for meaning, I would prefer to see "to gallop up," but "to run up" also fits context of the text which I was reading.</upd_detl>

-potential merge with かけあがる. 駆け上る gets more hits than 駆け登る, but many are very likely for かけあがる, therefore putting 駆け登る first for this entry</upd_detl>
