JMdict is entirely a volunteer project. I don't know if this will comfort or distress you, but discussions often go silent for months or even years for various reasons. Even topics started by members of the editorial board sometimes float by without even getting a single reply, so I think your expectations are perhaps a little out of whack.

Hopefully we'll be able to address the issue(s) you've raised eventually (or perhaps even very soon, depending on what the other editors have on their plates right now), but do have a little patience.
