Re: [edict-jmdict] New Monash WWWJDIC, etc. site

NM about the encoding.  Auto-detect wasn’t working so I futzed around a bit and it looks fine if I set to EUC-JP manually.

Looks good.  But the text encoding for the new WIP file seems to be screwy for me:

Also, the links all redirect to the old Monash link, which will fail soon.

Is there any way to get an updated WIP file?  I know there’s some manual finagling involved, but the current version is ~5 years old anyway.

I mentioned that a new server may be arriving at Monash for
my stuff, including WWWJDIC. It is now installed and seems to
be OK. I've been using it for a week or so, and it seems solid enough.

The URL is http://nihongo.monash.edu/cgi-bin/wwwjdic?1C

Assuming it continues OK, I'll point the old server (which could fail
at any time) to it.

http://nihongo.monash.edu/ contains a copy of the files from
http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/, but a few links are broken.
I ll get them fixed over time.

[The new server is a Linux VM (RHEL). The old one is Solaris, and
I'm not sorry to see the last of the old Sun stuff.]

Cheers
