The JMnedict.xml and enamdict files are now being generated
daily from the database (around 5am Texas time.)
Next week I'll be making the changes to WWWJDIC so that it can use
the entry sequence to enable links to the database for editing/viewing
entries. I'm planning to have two sorts of links:
(a) where there is a single reading associated with a surface form,
e.g. "田池 [たいけ] (s) Taike", there'll be an "Edit" link going straight to
the edit page for that entry, just as happens with jmdict at present.
(b) where a surface form has multiple readings, the version of the file
used by WWWJDIC has them merged into a single pseudo-entry, e.g.
"田地野 [たじの] (s) Tajino [たちの] (s) Tachino [たぢの] (s) Tadzino".
In these cases the "Edit" link will go to a search page for entries
starting with 田地野, and the user can select which entry to edit/view.
Cheers
Jim
