Hear, hear! I just recently moved from an iPhone to Android and I really miss the imiwa (formerly kotoba) app on iOS. On Android I also use AEDict and while it's the best one for Android it isn't nearly as good or polished as imiwa.
My biggest pet-peeve isn't with AEDict per se but with Android app developers who disable copy/pasting of their apps contents.
I'll be happy to give any new Android Japanese dictionary app a test spin :)
