kanjidic2 katakana "kun" readings

In a recent (2012-11-03) kanjidic2.xml file, I noticed there were 
a number of "kun" readings presented in katakana (list below).  The 
comments in the DTD say:

  ja_kun - the "kun" Japanese reading of the kanji, usually in hiragana.

Why are they only "usually" in hiragana, and are the ones in the
following list supposed to be katakana?  The first three look like 
they should be "on" readings.  [For the record, I checked but did 
not find any "on" readings that weren't katakana.]
