Re: [edict-jmdict] Archaic inflection types

I would prefer to have them all in eventually.  Pretty much all v4 and v2 types remain to be added.  The only ones that have found their way in so far have been associated with verbs that still find somewhat frequent usage in modern Japanese (e.g. [v2a-s] was added to handle う, [v4h] was added to handle のたまう, [v4r] was added to handle ござる)

FWIW, I'm wrapping up with the polar bears here over the next three days.  It's been largely unsuccessful this year due to helicopter issues and poor weather, but we have at least handled a few.

I'm interested in opinions about allowing a wider range of classical verb types
in. Some caution is needed. 侘ぶる gets about 260 hits, many of which are
dictionary
pages or quotes from old texts.

BTW, Marcus, your entry was probably mucked up by Yahoo's hopeless
interface. A more reliable way of getting Japanese into the list is to
use a regular mail client.

It does seems a little bit odd that just some archaic endings are supported, while others aren't. Apologies if this has been discussed before and I missed it.
