Oh, so I guess these projects are not included into the JMdict
releases yet, are they?

It looks like the Italian project is pretty similar to what we are
doing. How about suggesting using the Transifex interface once it is
functional? Especially since we already have contributions in Italian
here.

Since the JMdict (including its foreign translations) is distributed
under a CC licence, I do not see any permission problem here.
According to the licence, nothing prevents us from running another
effort based on the JMdict file itself.

But anyway, let's get the French version up and running first.
