Michael's question has set me thinking. That approach of having a link
at the foot of the page and checking the radio button on the entry
you wanted to edit, etc. was how I did in the old days, and with help I was
able to carry it forward into the new database interface.

It occurs to me that it is quite easy to have an Edit/Promote link on each entry
as Michael suggests, and this is probably a cleaner way to do it.

I have whipped the code to do this into the testbed version at:
http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/cgi-bin/wwwjdic2.cgi?1C
It puts one of three links at the end of each entry: Edit/Promote/No-edit.

Please try it out and give me some feedback as to whether it is preferred
to the current database. (I think it may result in more corrections/promotions.)

Cheers
