That is normal. Unlike the old dicsubs page, the submissions pages
are not static and unchanging -- an entry will appear on the page
for the day the entry was most recently changed. So if you submit
an entry on June 12 and it is approved on June 15, you will see the
entry on the June 12 page on June 12, 14, and 15, but after it
is approved in June 16, ir will disappear from the June 12 page
and show up on the June 16 page. This will happen with any edit
of the entry, not just approval.
You will see the "doorstop interview" (2557510) entry in today's
updates
http://www.edrdg.org/jmdictdb/cgi-bin/updates.py?svc=jmdict&y=2010&m=07&d=15
because you approved it today.
OK, I can see now that this is pretty confusing. :-). It would
be easy to change things so that the entry will be displayed on
the page for any date there was a change to it. If an entry was
submitted on June 12, edited on the 15th, and approved on the
16th, it would show up on the pages for all three of those dates.
Would this be better? (I am thinking so but...)
