The order came from habit formed long ago that says to put fixed size
fields in front of varying length fields so that the fields align vertically
as much as possible. When I tried the names (and email addresses) first,
the history list did look a pretty ragged, an effect magnified by the fact
that some history records have no name and email address at all resulting,
in the timestamp being the first field on the line, others have
a long name and mail address and the timestamp is way off on the right
somewhere. For now, I bolded the names. Do you think it is sufficient?

I think this serves a useful purpose.
It tells submitters that their email address really wasn't lost
or ignored.
It tells editors an email address is available for the submitter.
It reminds submitters that care really is taken to protect their
email address.

The pages look very plain in just white and black. Although I spent
days getting the perfect exquisite shade of green that you currently
enjoy, I can make the background white but think in that case that
something more (better fonts?, some kind of visual accents?) will be
needed.
