JMdict/EDICT updates added

Greetings all,

I rolled in ~850 new entries that had been building up for a while.
Seems to have gone OK, although I am sure a few errors have
slipped in (Jean-Luc will find them).

Last week I went through the pains of bringing up a new workstation.
My 4yo ThinkPad had started to do occasional CPU overheating
shutdowns, and my Linux version was rather dated. The new
laptop has more grunt and a lot more disk space. I also made a
shift of distribution: from Fedora Core to Ubuntu. After 11 years
in the RedHat world it's quite a change, although I have been
using Ubuntu and Debian-derived systems elsewhere.

I also finally abandoned kterm, as the standard editors and
terminal windows now handle Japanese adequately.

As some of you know, I've taken the plunge and started a
part-time doctorate in computational linguisticsat the
University of Melbourne. My internal supervisor is Tim Baldwin,
and Francis Bond is an external supervisor. My topic is
"Extraction of neologisms in Japanese corpora". It's something
I've been intending to do for years, and I finally got a
Round Tuit.

Cheers

Jim
