How about examination of COMPDIC entries by Google hit count as a
basis for assigning (obsc) tags?  The only possible objection I can
see to merging them into Edict is that there will be an increase in
irrelevant obscure words in search results.  The (postulated, future)
ability to filter out (obsc) entries would be one way of dealing with that.
