I tend to fall into the "absolutely not" camp on this.

First, it would turn enamdict into a depository for discrimination.

Second, family names don't reliably give away the status (although  
I've heard there's a folk belief that burakumin have "weird" family  
names, I think that's just discriminatory BS).  That's why people go  
to the trouble of hiring private investigators, who use lists of  
"villages" (not family names), and who used to have to go rooting  
through the kosekis until they were made private.  If you really want  
to know who's burakumin and who's not, try to get your hands on a  
copy of a 部落地名総鑑.  They're apparently posted on 2chan from  
time to time.

I suppose nobody's stopping you from converting 部落地名総鑑  
into edict format, but it seems unlikely that Jim would host it on  
the Monash FTP.
