The short answer is no. The slightly longer answer is that I have some
code I have used on occasions to hack into EB/Epwing files with varying
levels of success. ISTR each time I had to modify it a lot according to
quirks in the file, and I could never find a sound way to start off, so
I'd have to poke around in a dump to find the right spot to do an fseek()
to. I'll email them to you, but I doubt they'll be much use.

My experience too. I feel it should simply be a matter of firing up the
EB Library. Does the source of EBView help?  (Hmmmm. I looked at it. It's
heavy going.)

I had a DOS PDIC->text utility once, but it never worked that well. and
it was lost years ago.
