Yes, that could assist the people checking new/amended entries to have
a comment appended by a bot.

I don't think we want to go there just yet. We have just de-complicated
the entry process by having a Wiki-like simple markup for new/amended
entries. The simple text-box approach is not that amenable to realtime
generation of readings, and in any case I think it's important to encourage
subitters DO THEIR HOMEWORK before dashing in entries (I say this after many
years of editing stuffed-up submissions.)

Of course, once someone has put in an entry, it would be quite appropriate
for the server to say (in effect), "reading kkkkk isn't usual for KKKKK. Did
you mean mmmmmm or nnnnnn?"

That would be an interesting and useful feature, but let's walk before
we try to run.
