Those JF2 French entries

Greetings,

Olivier Binda (new member on this list) has raised the
topic of the "JF2" batch of 40,000 French entries which
are in JMdict and "j-french" file on WWWJDIC. As mentioned
in the WWWJDIC docs, these are from a now-defunct project
by some francophone Japanese, and seem to have been created
by running an old copy of EDICT through Systran. There are
many howlers and 直訳.

A few people in the past have suggested they be dropped, as
the error rate is rather high. I have stalled, but now that
Olivier has suggested it, I am wondering if the time
has come to pull the plug on them. What do others think?

Cheers

Jim
