Virginia WWWJDICmirror has closed

Greetings,

The UofV WWWJDIC mirror has (finally) been shut down. It was
the longest-running mirror, having been operating for over
8 years (William's CRC mirror started earlier, then moved with him
to the NRC.)

The problem with Virginia was that I effectively lost my account.
Login was disabled until I could "reauthenticate" myself. I did all
that but the account stayed locked. All the ITS folk would say is
"ring the helpdesk". Then the Library people, who were as frustrated
as I was, pointed out that they soon moving to another server which
may not be compatible, so it seemed best to pull the plug.
