Jim,
in that online documentation you say :
> Entries with news1, ichi1, spec1 and gai1 values are marked with a "(P)" in the EDICT and EDICT2 files.
but, in fact, entries with the spec2 values are also marked with a (P).
I can't remember if we had discussed that before. I think you had said
one tag was improperly used to make the (P) flag, but it may have been another
one...
as an example for the spec2, there is entry 1149820 :
<ke_pri>spec2</ke_pri>
<ke_pri>news2</ke_pri>
<ke_pri>nf28</ke_pri>
<re_pri>spec2</re_pri>
<re_pri>news2</re_pri>
<re_pri>nf28</re_pri>
and in edict :
亜熱帯 [あねったい] /(n) subtropics/(P)/
Or maybe, you just have changed that .. my edict is already 2 weeks old !
