Re: [edict-jmdict] JLPT Vocabulary

As an after-thought, your suggestion to add jlpt1", "jlpt2", etc. tag to
JMdict is excellent. However do you not feel that we're getting a bit
"marker heavy"? Is color-coding possible in this case?

Also, the suggestion that "vs", etc. have a "mouse-over and receive an
explanation" (sorry for the poor wording) is a really nice touch, though
fairly common nowadays. So many people new to Edict might drown in all the
appendings and qualifiers without it. Just a thought.

This being "idiot work", I feel myself eminently qualified.

Regarding: "What I'd be more amenable too is adding a "jlpt1", "jlpt2",
etc. tag to JMdict, and use it to generate grade-specific lists as
required." Hey, that was my idea!

If you need me to go through Edict and list 'em up, I'd be more than glad
to do so. BTW, I sent Paul Levels 1-4 of the JLPT vocabulary for his
consideration, so I have them.

Sorry, I didn't follow you with regard to "Kanji Kana 1, 2, etc."
